กรุงเทพฯ ประเทศไทย — 21 กรกฎาคม 2026 — AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) ประกาศขยายความร่วมมือเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ครอบคลุมทั้งกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์กราฟิกการ์ด (GPU), โปรเซสเซอร์ (CPU), ระบบเครือข่าย และซอฟต์แวร์ของ AMD บน Microsoft Azure โดยหัวใจสำคัญของการขยายความร่วมมือในครั้งนี้คือ Microsoft จะนำโซลูชันระดับแร็กเช่น AMD Helios Rackscale Solution ไปใช้เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการประมวลผลผลโมเดล AI ระดับแนวหน้า สำหรับ Microsoft, ลูกค้าด้าน AI และเพื่อสนับสนุนบริการ Azure AI นอกจากนี้ Azure ยังจะเพิ่มซีรีส์ VM ใหม่ 2 ซีรีย์ที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยโปรเซสเซอร์ AMD EPYC รวมถึงขยายการใช้ Pensando DPU เพื่อสนับสนุนบริการระบบเครือข่ายของ Azure โดย AMD จะเริ่มจัดส่ง Helios ให้แก่ลูกค้า ซึ่งรวมถึง Microsoft ในช่วงครึ่งหลังของปี 2026

AMD Helios รวมเอา GPU AMD Instinct™ MI455X, CPU AMD EPYC™ “Venice”, ระบบเครือข่าย Pensando™ และซอฟต์แวร์ ROCm™ เข้าด้วยกันบนแพลตฟอร์มระดับแร็กแบบเปิดที่ทำงานร่วมกันอย่างสมบูรณ์ ซึ่งสร้างขึ้นสำหรับการฝึก (training) และการประมวลผลผลลัพธ์ (inference) ของ AI ขนาดใหญ่ โดย Azure จะใช้ Helios สำหรับภาระงานประมวลผลผลลัพธ์ ครอบคลุมโมเดลระดับแนวหน้า บริการ Azure AI และแอปพลิเคชันของลูกค้า

ความร่วมมือนี้ช่วยขยายการเข้าถึงโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน AI ของ AMD บน Azure โดยผู้พัฒนาโมเดลระดับแนวหน้าสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วย AMD เพื่อฝึกและให้บริการโมเดล AI ขนาดใหญ่ ในขณะที่ลูกค้าระดับองค์กรสามารถนำไปใช้และขยายภาระงาน AI ในสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานจริงผ่าน Azure Foundry Managed Compute

ซีรีส์ VM ใหม่ของ Azure ประกอบด้วย Azure HDv2 สำหรับงานด้าน Agentic AI และเป็นท่อส่งข้อมูล และ Azure HXv2 สำหรับการออกแบบเซมิคอนดักเตอร์ ซึ่งจะขับเคลื่อนขุมพลังการประมวลผลผ่านโปรเซสเซอร์ 6th Gen AMD EPYC “Venice” ทั้งนี้ ซีรีส์ VM ใหม่จะช่วยขยายพอร์ตโฟลิโอ AMD EPYC บน Azure ให้ครอบคลุมเวิร์คโหลดงานด้าน AI  ด้านข้อมูล และวิศวกรรมอย่างกว้างขวางมากยิ่งขึ้น

นอกจากนี้ ความร่วมมือยังขยายไปถึงระบบเครือข่ายที่เชื่อมต่อและขยายขีดความสามารถของโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน Azure โดยต่อยอดจากการปรับใช้ AMD Pensando DPU เป็นวงกว้างของ Microsoft ทั้งสองบริษัทกำลังผสานรวม Azure Boost เข้ากับเทคโนโลยีของ AMD เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพระบบเครือข่าย ประสิทธิผล และการประมวลผลการเชื่อมต่อในระดับคลาวด์
